Dr. K. Kalakasinathan is the Principal of Nachiappa Swamigal Arts and Science College, Koviloor, since September 2025. She holds postgraduate and research qualifications — MCA, M.Phil., Ph.D., and SET — and has over 23 years of distinguished academic experience along with 20 years of administrative and social service. A dynamic educator and seasoned administrator, she has been instrumental in promoting academic excellence, women’s empowerment, and holistic student development. Her areas of academic interest span computer science, educational technology, and institutional governance.

Before assuming the office of Principal, she served as Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science, guiding more than 400 undergraduate and 100 postgraduate research projects and mentoring students toward innovation and professional success. She has authored three books with ISBN, published 15 research papers in national and international journals, and presented 15 papers at conferences and seminars. She has also delivered numerous invited lectures and webinars and contributed actively as a resource person in academic and research forums.
